Frequently Asked Questions
What's the difference between PNG and JPEG?
PNG is lossless and best for documents, screenshots, and anything with text or sharp edges. JPEG is smaller and best for photos or scanned content. WebP offers the best size/quality tradeoff for the web.
What DPI should I choose?
72 DPI is screen-resolution. 150 DPI is good for most everyday uses. 300 DPI is print quality and produces much larger files. Higher DPI = sharper image + bigger file.
How do I download all pages at once?
Browsers don't allow multiple simultaneous downloads in a single click. Click "Download" on each image individually, or click "Download All" to trigger them in sequence (some browsers may prompt for permission).
Is my PDF safe?
Yes. All processing happens in your browser using pdfjs-dist. Your file never leaves your device.
